Interpretation of the work:
"THE SPINNING PRAYER WHEELS" is one of Mr. Shi Guoliang's representative works on the theme of "Tibetan Religion" in "Humanist Realistic Figure Painting in Ink and Color", and it is also his highest auction record with 11.73 million yuan. Tibetan religion is the main subject of Shi Guoliang's figure paintings. Tibet is a religious people, and they believe in reincarnation, and the suffering in this life is due to insufficient cultivation in previous lives. Only by accumulating virtue and doing good deeds and helping others can they live a good life in the next life, so they have to practice and worship the Buddha. In this work, a resolute man, a virtuous wife, a budding baby, a pious little boy, a kind old man, a shy big girl, a mother with a little girl on her back, and a beautiful menstrual girl, plus two dogs who are worshiped as gods in the hearts of Tibetans, although the nine characters in the picture have different expressions, what they have in common is the purity and happiness in their hearts, which is the humanist thought that Shi Guoliang wants to express.
